Hi, it's Sonja, age 29, from the Netherlands (and yes! another green-eyed member  ).
I've been a member of most Valensia-related mailinglists since, in 1998, I found out that there were actually a lot of Valensia-fans online.
I've worked for the Official Valensia website since 1999 and took over the webmastership in 2003.
I haven't been listening very much Valensia-music lately, although the cd's still have a prominant place in my cd-display. Right now, I'm greying the new releases from Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Kosheen and Mika.

Yeah, that was a great day. The picture was taken in 2004 after Valensia performed at the Dutch radioshow Cappucino. It was quite a relaxed show, when I arrived Valensia was practising his soloperformance of Man from Manhattan and JeroenG (also on this list) was having a chat with Valensia's girlfriend Maaike.
When Valensia finished practising, we shook hands and had a cup of coffee together (on the picture: me, JeroenG and Valensia).
Then he went to perform (listen to Man from Manhattan, live in Cappucino - thanx to my dad who was so kind to record it on his computer ) and I took a lot of pictures, here's one of them.
Later we went to a bar, where our picture was taken, and we spent another hour talking. It was great fun, he's really nice!

Uhm, as far as I know, most of my sites still exist. Which one do you mean, the Official site? Because that one is also still online, there's a hidden link on my old website (http://www.sonja227.tmfweb.nl/. Click in the page, Select all (Ctrl+A) and a date appears after the name of the official site. That link still leads to the last version of www.valensia.com...
http://www.valensia.tmfweb.nl is my fansite, haven't updated it for a while though, since there's not much to tell.
I've met Valensia several times, the first time in 1998 during the carre meeting (for pictures check my very old and very slow website http://westwood.fortunecity.com/baker/523/valensia.htm, second time during the meet and greet at Schiphol, and the last time was at the cappucino-performance. We used to have a lot of email contact while the Valensia-site was still online. Haven't mailed him since last April though (my fault, I haven't replied yet).
More about me: I live in the Netherlands, in a small village near Amsterdam, and I have 2 jobs: I work several hours a week in a musicstore on the Amsterdam Central Station and the rest of the week I spend in the computerdepartment of the Amsterdam Police...

OOOOOH!!!!!! Tell, please, Sonja, whether it is possible to receive somehow from you a copy of it CD? Or even MP-3? I know, it very very rare record!
